Launched by the European Commission, the Climate Pact is part of the European Green Deal and is helping the EU meet its goal of being the world's first climate-neutral continent by 2050. The Green Deal aims to make the EU economy sustainable, converting climate and environmental challenges into opportunities, and making the transition fair and inclusive for all. By combining the political focus of the Green Deal and support for individual action from the Climate Pact, all levels of government and individuals can work together to limit our impact on the climate.

AseBio has been assigned as Coordinator at the national level to foster the commitment and initiatives of citizens and stakeholders in Spain. In this sense, it will organize in one of the most important fairs in the sector (Biospain), a session in which we will talk about how different agents from the business, scientific, educational and financial fields work to increase the sustainability of the country.

We will also have the presence of the deputy director of the General Directorate of the European Commission, Clara de la Torre, to comment on the latest news about the Pact and an ambassador who will motivate the public and other speakers to action.
